GSM Mission
Good Samaritans Ministries of Stokesdale, Inc. is a cooperative outreach ministry supported by local congregations whose mission is to serve those in need in the Stokesdale Community to the best of our ability and as God leads and to gather the community together for worship and celebration of God’s presence through Jesus Christ. The organization is made up entirely of volunteers who love the Lord and find great joy in serving others! |
Good Samaritan Ministries (GSM) Inc. is made up of local area churches who incorporated several years ago in order to better serve the Stokesdale community. Currently, there are 10 PARTICIPATING churches and 4 COMMUNITY PARTNER churches that make up the ministry. (Visit the GSM "Who We Are" web page for more information about the "Participating Churches" and "Community Partners".) All 14 churches support GSM with food, money, donations, and/or volunteer time!
All emergency help provided to those in need comes from the GSM general budget which is financed by donations, fund raisers, and 5th Sunday Sings. (See below!)
