In January 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on January 26, the 4th Saturday of the month.
In February 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on February 23, the 4th Saturday of the month.
In March 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on March 30, the 5th Saturday of the month.
  • The GSM churches will hold a combined Ash Wednesday Worship Service at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, March 6, at Bethel UMC in Oak Ridge. 
  • On March 31 there will be a 5th Sunday Singing at Bethel UMC beginning at 6:00 pm. 
In APRIL 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on April 27, the 4th Saturday of the month.
  • Easter Sunrise Worship Service - Sunday, April 21.  Oak Springs Baptist Church will host this joyous event.
  • Saturday, April 13 is the date for the Annual Clean-up at Camp Carefree.  Times:  9 am until 3 pm. 
  • Maundy Thursday Worship Service, April 18.  Hosted by Stokesdale Christian Church.
  • Good Friday Tennebrae service will be at 7:00 pm at Flat Rock UMC, Friday, April 19.
  • Good Friday Cross Walk - Friday, April 19.  The Cross Walk will start at 11:30 am at Stokesdale UMC and will conclude at Stokesdale UMC.  Light refreshments will be provided after the walk.  Golf carts will be available to transport individuals who are unable to walk in the event.  Please see the "Announcements" web page for more information.
In MAY 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on May 25, the 4th Saturday of the month.
  • The National Day of Prayer will be celebrated on Thursday, May 2, at 7:00 pm at the Stokesdale Fire Station.
In JUNE 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on June 29, the 5th Saturday of the month.

  • Stokesdale Christian Church will host their 3rd Annual Custom Carz Show on Saturday, June 1, from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm, rain or shine!  See the church's web site for more information.  http://stokesdalechristianchurch.com/carshow.html
In JULY 2019:

In August 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on August 31, the 5th Saturday of the month.

  • The dates for and other information regarding the August GSM School Supply Drive will be announced will be forthcoming. 
In SEPTEMBER 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on September 28, the 4th Saturday of the month.
  • Walk for Hunger - Sunday, September 8 at Bethel UMC from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Details forthcoming!
In OCTOBER 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on October 26, the 4th Saturday of the month.
  • The Annual GSM Fish Fry will be held at Stokesdale Christian Church in October.  More information will be forthcoming.
In NOVEMBER 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on November 23. Please note that this is the FOURTH Saturday in November!
  • Information regarding the Thanksgiving Worship Service on Sunday, November 17 will be forthcoming. 
  • Details regarding the GSM Angel Tree (located at the Stokesdale Fire Department) will be provided as soon as they become available. 
In DECEMBER 2019:
  • Food Pantry and Clothes Closet will be open on December 21.   Please note that this is the THIRD Saturday in December!
  • The Town Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Saturday, December 7, at 6:00 pm.  The event will be held at the Stokesdale Town Hall.
  • The Stokesdale Christmas Parade will be held on Saturday, December 14, starting at 2:00 pm.
